Cruise

And I swear that my thoughts could eat me alive
There's something I've been searching for
Something I'm meant to live for
I haven't gotten there yet
Haven't seen the sun set
Everything needs to rise
Constant tide is the disguise

And all the roots I've ever grown
And all the seeds I've ever sewn
And all the love I've ever known

Will reach the sky
A lonely tree

Just don't forget to water me.

The Air Is Clean

I never knew you could touch grace,
Feel, hold and understand her.

The way you have spoken to the Universe,
The way you let the wind tangle your hair,
While listening to nature's speech.

Do you find grace or do you choose it?

I've lost my yearning appetite
I lost my urge to finish a fight.

Starvation mode - an addiction to feel.

Once you fall off the branch of that tree,
I can't assure you'll land among another.

Take grace, and grab hold of these strings.
Everything fragile, may tear apart.

But here, with her. You'll just float away.

Nature Toned Soul

Green and drifting,
Your branches reached and rotted.

Sifting, drifting
Your cloud expanding and filling.

Swaying arms to swim,
Your aspiration is the sun.

Swimming in mid daylight,
You found the rays that guide you.

Climbing, falling no more parachutes,
Land among the branch you evolved from.

The wind spiralled into dust.
But here your oasis has been found.

Roots

The plane preparing for take-off,
Fell to the ground.

The girl waiting for the boy,
Walked away.

The clock flying by,
Stopped working.

The world eternally spinning,
Ended.

The blood pulsing through your veins,
Came to being still.

The loss in your heart,
Disappeared.

The love of your life,
left.

But the roots that clench into the ground.
Hold you together.
Piece by piece and branch by branch.

You will become a forest, a battle,
endless growing, reaching to the height of a drifting cloud.

Trees that are soliders
Fighting, pulsing
Roots digging, deeper. Into the ground.
And you will never move, and you will never become lost.

the truth about freedom

The space between inhale and exhale the space between stars fill up with air, and collapse into dust I walk a sunlit path and breath...
