The Pennies We Wished Upon

The mountains were waiting,
When their water had evaporated.

Like a silk twister entering the skies.

Invisible and harmless particles whither and combine.

Condensation, candlelight.
Nature lives the cycle we fight.

Circular motions to continue a breathing Earth.
Suffocating fumes of innocence lost long ago..

Beneath the soil, among the trees,
The absolute panoramic liberties.

Dream on violent winds.
Run on paper ground.

Rain runs the crevasses of the mountains that were told,
To end in a fountain of providence where wishes sold.

Robot Eyes

The hardest you fell,
From the highest story,
Of the tallest building,
Of the biggest city,
On the busiest streets.

You know rain is coming,
When there's blood on your hands.

You put yourself to sleep,
Swallowed prescriptions to boss your molecules.

Each and every one.
No one knows what part of you is real anymore.

Who told you to jump?
The guy at the end?
Your imagination
Of the capsule you call your friend.

And you won't sleep tonight,
Cause you forget that you're alive.

These lights couldn't be anymore blinding,
But still you can't see.

A tear hits the bottom of the building.
Pavement absorbing my cries.

You landed amongst traffic...

I would have caught you in my arms.

Curse of the Sky

All this rain,
For all this love
You refuse to give away.

A permanent rain cloud,
Inescapably pending.

There's a thunder waiting beneath the surface.

Ignorance is not an option.

A warning sign heard from miles away.
Will break the strings you made today.

Innocence - getting further away.

Morning Blues

Blue
To put the memories in the box.

Blue and white wispy swirls held against the rays.

No matter where you end up lost,
The sky will always look the same.

Unfamiliar place, filled with the same familiar sky.

Lightening bolt snaps vital life,
Shivering thunder to move the ground beneath this shelter.

But I have slept through it all,
Now, I hear nothing but the rain..

Precipitate

Mute skies reflected upon stale slate water...
Clings to the pebbles living beneath the sand
In their horror of the day

The waves roll back submerging a history
of ships and storms

Into streams they swirl
Into winds they curl

In the sky, evaporate.
Fall
Rain
Turn
Sink
Cycle

Back. Over rooftops and down again...

Clear liquid transparent diving from the blue yonder

To hope for the rays in the darkest places of the Earth
And that is such a righteous way to live
In the exploration of love.

Transform

No thoughts come to mind
For a reason
To care
To cling to air,

That only wants to push me away..

You're silence is enough
For me to know that I'm not enough.

So for now I'll just turn into rain.

After the Rain

And every time you look past the dark,
There will be a glitter in the air.

And every time you remember how to smile,
There will be eyes that are cleared.

And every time you hold your breath,
Just look before you drown.

'Cause you can change your life at any moment.
You can turn it all around.

Don't give up, just because you feel pain,
Remember it will leave, it will fade away.

Fight for your dreams, and cut away your fears.
So where will you go once the rain disappears?

The Desert We Lived In

You felt unloved by me,
I felt unloved by you.

A dehydrated desert waits for rain.

Our storm just never came.

The whole thing just crumbled,
and tore apart.

the truth about freedom

The space between inhale and exhale the space between stars fill up with air, and collapse into dust I walk a sunlit path and breath...
