Robot Eyes

The hardest you fell,
From the highest story,
Of the tallest building,
Of the biggest city,
On the busiest streets.

You know rain is coming,
When there's blood on your hands.

You put yourself to sleep,
Swallowed prescriptions to boss your molecules.

Each and every one.
No one knows what part of you is real anymore.

Who told you to jump?
The guy at the end?
Your imagination
Of the capsule you call your friend.

And you won't sleep tonight,
Cause you forget that you're alive.

These lights couldn't be anymore blinding,
But still you can't see.

A tear hits the bottom of the building.
Pavement absorbing my cries.

You landed amongst traffic...

I would have caught you in my arms.

The Observation Place

The addiction
Of change.

Has caused me to rebel, lie, hide.

And It's better to live without regrets.
Wake up every morning, look in the mirror.
And forgive yourself.

Exploration, I find, I create.
The addiction, is what has made me.

Delusion is a drug.
Walk into walls.
Never want to be without being affected.

Emerge in disaster. Live in greyscale.
And the world will remind you of the colours all it's own.

Sleep to You

I want you.
Within me.
Around me.
Hold me.
Tell me,
Something you have never told before.

I have grown addicted.
To your scent, kiss, touch.
My heart races.
My breath quickens.

You stop and hold me to keep me sane.
You have casted light upon me which I could never find.

I want you there to fall asleep to.
To lie awake to.
To dream away with.

I can't blink you away.
You're living in my mind.
You're taking up my chest.
You won't leave my mind.

Ill sleep to you tonight.
