Reaping Cottoned Dreams

For the shot, for the kiss.
Perfection drowned in running this.

A clinic of ventricles beating through your heart,
Disrupted the silence, at a loss to find the start.

Backed up a fight,
Ignored choosing the right.

And the thoughts whisper at you,
Yelling at you in dreams.

Bursting inside,
Swelling seams, providing streams.

And all your skins been graded, fire burning pain away.
Ashes to ashes, we become.
Together - we're all. But lonely is the sum.

Of it all, in it all. Emotions cutting knots on chastised rope.
Jump from the top while your fears chase you to the ground,
Knowing it's the last chance, eyes closed. Death bound.

The Lost Traveller

I sent a kite into the air,
It would be my warning sign.

Rushing waves and rapids flow beneath the cliff...
From afar I run

This is the dive.
The escape.
The goodbye.
Off of your island
I must swim back to mine.

In Her Nature

These walls I stare at.
Impossible to see past, to see through.

In this silent, empty room.

Nothing but a window,
A world all too familiar to look out to.

If I must bleed to know what is on the other side.
Cut me open.

Let's run dry.

Submerged in obsession of my own developing thoughts.

'Cause this pen,
Is all I allow myself to have.

Bourn In Thick Coats

Mold growing against the walls,

Its starting to shake, starting to fall..

Left for too long and soaked beneath pipes and drains

No where left for water to flow.

No where safe left to stand.

Surrounded, producing poison casts its ways ahead.
