Sparks

You were a glimpse of light.

The one people wait for to peak over the horizon.

But you never rose.
You fell, you burnt out.

More like a comet, but I was hoping for the sun.

I'll still stare at the sky,
With starry eyes.

Wait for the night
To arrive.

Look up; you are guaranteed beauty.

But by foot I have the world to see.
A map to hold.

A friend to sing,
"Embrace the sky."

the truth about freedom

The space between inhale and exhale the space between stars fill up with air, and collapse into dust I walk a sunlit path and breath...
