Wounded

I know she left a mark.
But all I'm trying to do,
Is erase it.

You won't let me.

let that mark be there as one sweet memory don't associate the pain to it.

Ah, yes. But you can't ignore the feeling of pain.

If it would be possible would you trade a moment of pure happiness for a moment of pure sorrow or would you rather go through life without feeling neither of them?

Right now, Im in a state where I cant feel anything.

So I cannot accurately answer that question, when Im numb.

why are you numb?

nevertheless i assume you felt both emotions once, so you are capable of making a decision even in a hypothetical situation like this one,

I have felt both.

so would you trade?

Brittany said...

Why would I want to trade happiness for sorrow, when sorrow is all I am capable of feeling consistently.

Happiness is a challenge im striving to reach.

There is also happiness in sorrow, emotions = life. and by feeling emotions you are living with everything that comes with it, the entire spectrum of emotions. Which in my opinion come down on love and fear.

and besides that, after the sour the sweet will taste so much better:)
