The Day We Met

It wasn't a look
But a feeling I can't forget
I swear there were people around
Maybe a crowd
But somehow
I could only see you

You looked into my soul
And found a place
For you to belong

I shut the door
And you found a way
To break it down

You didn't need words
It's just silent
You didn't need keys
You already knew the answers

One kiss
Was electricity
One plane ride
Was eternity

And my hand is no longer my own
Its yours to hold
A half turned whole

My chest didn't carry a heart
You glued black the pieces
That tore apart

Most of the time
I try to hide
But you're the sunlight
On this side

Veins connected,
Far away
But still inside.

the truth about freedom

The space between inhale and exhale the space between stars fill up with air, and collapse into dust I walk a sunlit path and breath...
